Heathcliff Jonathan Peterson was born on July 31st, 1981 to State Congressman, Ronald Peterson and his socialite wife, Marjorie. With the status his father held, the family owned and lived on a massive estate in the wealthiest area of New York, Brookville. Heath was doted on and spoiled from his father, who had hopes and dreams that when the time was right and his only son was old enough, he would follow in his old man's footsteps and pursue a career in politics. Heath adored his father and looked up to him greatly for much of his childhood, even though more often then not he was away on business, leaving him in the care of his nanny, as his mother was too busy being the perfect trophy wife to raise him. It was during this time that Heath began to learn and grow more curious about the world around him, wanting to find out how things worked. He fell in love with science, devouring books and asking questions left and right while his father was away and it was when he was around ten years old that Heath knew exactly what he wanted to do and what he wanted to be when he grew up. He wanted to become a scientist and discover something important. Something that could change the world and help improve the lives of the people living on it.

By the time that Heath was in high school, he had become one of the most hard-working and studious students in his class, much to the chagrin of his father. Ronald did everything he could to persuade his son to follow the path of politics, even getting him an internship in his office but Heath never gave in. He knew what he wanted to do and made sure to pursue his dream throughout high school, taking as many science classes he could. This transferred over into his college years, where he got excepted into MIT in Boston, moving out of New York and away on his own for the first time and found a love of Biochemistry that he majored in and decided to make his focus, as well as a career out of. Once finished with MIT, Heath knew that simply getting one degree was not enough, as he knew that there was so much more to discover that had yet to be found and explored in the world of Biochemistry. He decided to continue his education at MIT, eventually obtatining his Master's in Biochemistry along with an eventual PhD.

Proud of what he had accomplished on his own, Heath decided to stay in Boston for the long-term. His parents demanded he move back home with his father growing increasingly angry with him for not pursuing politics. Heath declined however, finding a nice townhouse in a small suburb near downtown where he could make it his own. He found a job fairly quickly as well, earning a position at Bergman Industries, where he had interned and studied in the labs for his courses, as a Biochemist and Researcher. Now, into his early 30s, Heath is well on his way to pursuing his real dream of discovering something that could help change the world for the better. He loves his job, loves the city he now calls home, and doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon. Especially for the demands and the whims of his mother and father.
